Artist Gareth Emery

From Ibiza to New York, Gareth Emery has spun all over the world, and developed a following that counts trance kingpin Paul Van Dyk among its ranks. The jack-of-all-trades DJ is also a producer, promoter, label head, and mans his own podcast. A staple of the contemporary trance movement, Emery has been hustling vinyl and synthesized sounds since 2002, creating his own tracks and remixing the work of other DJs. 2009 saw the launch of his branding empire, Garuda, which included a series of club nights, and the double-disc release of The Sound Of Garuda. His 2010 debut artist album, Northern Lights, was a collection of slickly produced vocal trance that got the remix treatment this year.
