Artist Genitorturers

The Genitorturers aren’t anything new. With their vixen of a lead singer, songs about sin, and a wardrobe full of black latex, the quartet epitomizes the long since faded glory days of the industrial scene that birthed them two decades ago. In that more than 20-year period, the band has released five albums, culminating in 2009’s Blackheart Revolution, which features the instantly terrible classic, “Cum Junkie,” without ever making as much of a dent outside of hardcore industrial fans. If there’s a redeeming factor here—besides the kitsch—it’s the band’s theatrical live shows, which do their best to validate the band’s self-proclaimed motto of being the “sexiest band on earth.”
