Graham Reynolds

An eclectic composer with five symphonies, two operas, a dozen string quartets, and the scores to five films—including A Scanner Darkly—to his credit, Graham Reynolds is one of the busiest musicians in Austin. When he’s not sitting in for one of his “live score” events at the Alamo Drafthouse, Reynolds is also the resident composer with the Salvage Vanguard, a member of Rude Mechanicals, and the leader of punk/jazz/noise collective Golden Arm Trio. Reynolds’ work marries John Zorn-like experimentation to prog-rock exploration and his own ear for classical composition, which grows only more and more refined.
