Artist I Set My Friends On Fire

I Set My Friends On Fire is an experimental band that formed in Miami in 2007, the same year they released their self-titled EP. It’s been a fast-track career for them, since they have released a CD every year since, with their latest CD, Astral Rejection, released last July. To categorize the band into a specific genre is about as difficult as recalling things that rhyme with orange (coincidentally, that’s the name of one of their more popular songs). I Set My Friends On Fire seamlessly blends electonica, punk, crunk, and post-hardcore. Not even rap is off limits for them—they did a version of “Soulja Boy” on their self-titled debut. While setting friends on fire is discouraged, burning chords as well as I Set My Friends On Fire is more than invited.
