Artist In Fear And Faith

  • In Fear and Faith

One look at the members of In Fear And Faith, with their disheveled hair and fists clutching lukewarm bottles of Miller High Life, and it seems clear that this band doesn’t give a fuck about anything. But its Zumiez-approved, spit-polished metalcore—which mercifully cuts the overwrought screams with slightly less ridiculous whiny singing—and tireless touring of oft-overlooked small towns would say otherwise. On the band’s 2010 release, Imperial, the pleading tone and raw emotions of racket-makers like “Counselor” and “The Solitary Life” serve as further proof that hearts of gold beat beneath the band’s wrinkled shirts and loosely knotted ties.
