As In Tall Buildings, Erik Hall takes a break from his work in Nomo, His Name Is Alive, and Saturday Looks Good To Me. His 2010 self-titled record is a home-spun labor of love, from its recording in Hall’s linen closet to its release on Chicago’s Whistler Records. It’s charming as all get out, as evidenced by tracks like “The Way To A Monster’s Lair.”
