INXS

Despite having made almost no dent in popular music outside of Australia since 1987’s Kick and losing charismatic frontman Michael Hutchence in 1997, INXS is still at it. After a few one-off shows, one of which featured Terence Trent D’Arby as a guest vocalist, INXS got serious again, seeking a full-time vocalist. That search got surreal in 2005 when the band turned to a reality show, Rock Star: INXS, to find a new singer. The band’s newest release is an album of reworks of Hutchence-era hits called Original Sin, which the band is on tour in support of now.
