Artist Jake Sharon

Jake Sharon knows rejection: The Denver comedian once appeared on Elimidate, a syndicated dating show that ran late nights on WGN, and was promptly, well, eliminated. (What woman wouldn’t want a guy who says the word “poop” all the time?) Sharon works his high-school-prankster persona hard—think banana peels, foiled pick-up lines, and cheeseball toilet humor. He’s been dubbed the “Jesus of Denver,” mostly for his blond Rapunzel-like locks, by local rock station KBPI, which also airs Sharon’s weekly radio sermons.
