JB Smoove

J.B. Smoove is a writer, comedian, and actor who’s worked the industry from one side (as a former writer for Saturday Night Live) to the other (as the scene-stealing houseguest Leon "Bring The Ruckus To That Ass" Black on Curb Your Enthusiasm). Between television and film gigs, Smoove has always made time for stand-up, which shows in his confident swagger on stage. He’s an animated comic, big on physical gags and exaggerated punchlines. Live, he paces non-stop, throws up his arms, kicks down mic stands, tosses stools—Smoove is highly energetic, and never holds back, whether he's riffing on the ridiculous stuff people wear to the clubs or whoever happens to catch his eye in the crowd (so watch where you sit).
