Jeffrey Eugenides

Novelist Jeffrey Eugenides is a lot of things—brilliant, critically acclaimed—but he’s certainly not prolific. Over the course of his nearly 20-year career, he’s only published two novels. Of course, when those novels happen to be 1993’s The Virgin Suicides and 2002’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Middlesex, you probably don’t have to sweat it. Eugenides’ newest book, The Marriage Plot, will be released in fall 2011.
