John Vanderslice

San Francisco-based John Vanderslice is a producer, recording-studio owner, and master craftsman of intricate, nuanced pop. A mass of critical adulation coalesced around his adventurous, personal, and political 2005 record Pixel Revolt and its follow-up, Emerald City. His usual meticulous care and inventiveness is still apparent on the recent White Wilderness, an album he recorded in part with Magik Magik Orchestra.
