Artist Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison

Johnny Cash’s voice uttering the simple greeting, “Hello, I’m Johnny Cash” is as famous as the album that captured his 1968 performance at the well-known Folsom Prison. This companion film is a compilation of rare footage from the event, plus images by rock photographer Jim Marshall and interviews with inmates and those close to Cash. Based around what some consider the most important live album ever made, Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison is a unique look at one of the greatest rebels in rock history, and the social and political statement he chose to make with his music.
