Jon Lajoie is best known as Taco McArthur, the habitually stoned fantasy footballer from FX’s The League. But, as a strange side career, he also moonlights as a comic rapper. Among his rap musings: pedophiles, public masturbators—and yes, getting high. Lajoie—who first gained notoriety as a YouTube sensation—is forming a legitimate career; a 2009 Comedy Central special and the popularity of The League are wins most Internet celebrities don’t muster. The 30-year-old Canadian is touring in support of his immaculately named 2010 sophomore LP, I Kill People.
