Jonny Corndawg

Jonny Corndawg is a weird cat. At first glance, his uncomfortable demeanor and prepubescent-sounding vocals seem like a sight best suited for a Tim And Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! episode. Much like a character on that show, Corndawg awkwardly tackles bizarre subject matters like keeping your body healthy, and he whines like a mutt in a song about a chained-up pet. But his beauty of all that rabble-rousing is that he’s not mugging for special attention. This act is just who he is. None of these shenanigans feel like a preconceived ploy for a record contract. And since there’s sincerity in his bones, his music sounds kind of beautiful while also being silly.
