To date, Josh Blue has played on the 2004 U.S. Paralympic soccer team, come into his own as a talented sculptor and painter, and—oh yeah—emerged as an in-demand stand-up comic virtually overnight. Catapulting into the spotlight after winning Last Comic Standing in 2006, Denver-bred Blue has since taken on an exhaustive schedule, working every night of the week to spread his self-deprecating, disability-positive gospel to a growing legion of fans. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was a year old—a subject he’s never shy to broach—Blue jokes in his own self-defense while eagerly inviting his audiences to scoff with him, debunking stereotypes in the process.
