Though it’s true that Kathy Griffin can be annoying, there’s no denying that the carrot-topped loudmouth can also be pretty funny as she scales the comedy food chain on the back of celebrity insults. Her Emmy-winning and increasingly misnomered reality show, My Life On The D-List, has made her a bit of a pop-culture phenomenon. The fact that her 2008 album, For Your Consideration, debuted at #1 on the Billboard comedy charts—the first for a female—and her last three albums all received Grammy nominations only proves that her star has continued to rise. Given her darling status on the Bravo! network, it should come as no surprise that the network has given the comedian her own weekly talk show, Kathy, which launched earlier this spring and is surprisingly not terrible.
