Keith Urban

Country music star Keith Urban’s career began long before his highly publicized relationship with Nicole Kidman or his stints in rehab. The shiny-haired musician made waves in 1991 when he moved from New Zealand to Australia, bringing Southern-styled rock to the country. Not long after, he moved to the U.S. and had mild success with his group, The Ranch, before leaving the trio to pursue a solo career; the rest is Country Music Awards history. Urban’s latest album, Get Closer, is another lean and agreeable collection of easy-to-digest country tunes.
