Ken Vandermark

He may not have been born and bred here, but Chicago has embraced the MacArthur Fellowship-winning jazz musician Ken Vandermark all the same. Vandermark has channeled his inner Duke Silver at Chicago area clubs, either as a solo act or in one of the many ensembles he’s found himself in, since his arrival from Boston at the dawn of the ’90s.
