Kevin Costner And Modern West

Actors and bands have a long, ignoble history that includes Keanu Reeves, Bruce Willis, Juliette Lewis, and Russell Crowe. Now the Field Of Dreams guy has thrown caution and good taste to the wind with his band, the roots-rockin’ Modern West. Yes, in case there’s any doubt, Kevin Costner’s band sucks. But you have to grudgingly respect the guy for putting himself out there when suspicion and mockery are all but guaranteed. Besides, it’s not like Modern West can be any worse than films like Mr. Brooks and Rumor Has It. Though those simply looking to gawk at a trainwreck might find it hard to justify shelling out 35 bucks for a few ironic laughs.
