Kevin Nealon
Like many Saturday Night Live alumni, Kevin Nealon mostly dropped off the radar after leaving 30 Rockefeller Plaza, later popping up in Weeds; Glenn Martin, DDS; and the Adam Sandler-Jennifer Aniston vehicle Just Go With It. It hasn’t been the most auspicious post-SNL career (especially when he’s rendered in clay on Glenn Martin or hidden under prosthetics in Adam Sandler comedies), which makes Nealon’s continued work in the stand-up realm all the sweeter. There’s a narcissistic quality to Nealon’s funniest work and characters, so he obviously thrives in a solo setting, where no other performer can interrupt his rapid-fire stream of dry non sequiturs and not-so-deep thoughts. He’s currently recording a new special for Showtime.
