It’s no surprise that a Google query of “Kevin Pollak” quickly suggests “Kevin Pollak Christopher Walken”—the stand-up’s impression of the often-imitated actor has become one of the few respected versions that understands the whimsy of Walken’s unconnected thoughts. But aside from impressions, Pollack’s dry wit and low-key persona has translated into success on the stand-up stage, as well as a few well-known criminal-based roles in The Usual Suspects and The Whole Nine Yards. In 2009, he launched the Internet-only Kevin Pollak’s Chat Show, where he’s chatted with celebrities like Kevin Nealon, Hank Azaria, and Weird Al Yankovic. Especially since he began hosting Fox’s Million Dollar Money Drop in 2010, Pollak would be a natural replacement if Jon Stewart or Charlie Rose ever hang it up.
