Kid Rock
Over the years, Kid Rock’s style has changed with the winds, from his early days as a foul-mouthed, flat-topped rapper to his most recent persona as a shit-kicking Motor City rocker. Rock’s reinventions have met with varying degrees of success; most unusually, he hit big as a new-country good ol‘ boy on a duet with Sheryl Crow (“Picture”). For 2003’s self-titled disc, Rock didn’t take any chances: He stomped out rocking odes to girls and beer. It’s more of the same on both 2007’s Rock And Roll Jesus and 2010’s Born Free, with Rock showing off the charm that has helped him score some of the fakest-breasted women and most muscled-out cars around.
