Kings Of Leon
Over the course of its last three albums, Kings Of Leon went from being a whiskey-soaked best-kept secret to being one of the biggest acts in mainstream rock. The most recent of those LPs, 2010’s Come Around Sundown, relies a bit too much on the shine of its explosively decadent and epically experimental predecessor, Only By The Night—but it’s still just the kind of arena-sized crowd-pleaser that few modern rock bands are capable of producing. It certainly didn’t knock the brothers (plus cousin) Followill from their festival-headliner status.
