Artist Kirk Farber

Kirk Farber’s first novel, Postcards From A Dead Girl, infuses dark humor into the story of a guy trying to get over the ex-girlfriend who he thought was dead but now he’s not so sure. Protagonist Sid is a telemarketer who is slowly losing his mind: The scent of lilac invades his nostrils at random and his mother’s spirit speaks to him through a bottle of 1967 Bordeaux. Sid is a desperately lost character who finds himself in increasingly awkward situations, but his reactions are based in absurd wit as he tries to maintain his sanity and clear his untidy mind.
