Artist Leftover Salmon

Merging together two Boulder, Co., groups—The Salmonheads and Left Hand String Band—Leftover Salmon’s pseudo-psychedelic sound was officially born in 1989. Led by comical vocalist, guitarist, and washboard player Vince Herman, the group’s free-flowing calypso/cajun aesthetic is highlighted by bouncy basslines, warm organ tones, and plenty of noodling guitars. Although the band hasn’t released a studio album since 2004, fans don’t seem to mind—Leftover Salmon continues to tour relentlessly, selling out venues across the country.
