Lindstrøm

Hans-Peter Lindstrøm has a knack for crafting slowly evolving dance tracks that combine psychedelic ambience with pulsating rhythms. This prolific Norwegian producer’s output is sometimes referred to as “space disco”, which unfairly brings to mind some sort of weird, Starlight Express-style nostalgia that nobody wants. After six years of collaborative singles and remixes, Lindstrøm finally released his first studio album, Where You Go I Go Too, featuring three carefully crafted tracks that unfold over 55 minutes. His latest, Real Life Is No Cool, finds him collaborating yet again with singer Christabelle. Live, Lindstrøm busts out improvised keyboard solos and sampler experimentation without neglecting the funkified grooves that keep blissed-out ravers and dance freaks moving.
