Artist Lissy Trullie

Lissy Trullie is a brash, fetching artist with a solid hold on songwriting and playful flirting with snarls and snaps. She began performing at art openings while studying graphic design in New York and was quickly embraced by downtown trendsetters like Chloë Sevigny (who featured Trullie as the face of her clothing line) before getting picked up by American Myth Recordings. Her 2009 debut album,Self-Taught Learner, evokes early punk as practiced by the likes of Elvis Costello and Pat Benatar, with lots of ringing guitars and just enough care for composition to create the illusion of being off-the-cuff.
