In addition to being a rock ’n’ roll pioneer—he claims to have invented the genre, in fact—Little Richard is as manic now as he was in his heyday and, thanks to the weirdness of non-aging, even more visually striking. Though he has retired and returned several times in his career, the man behind such classics as “Long Tall Sally” and “Tutti Frutti” can still tear up the stage when he wants to, and by all reports, he usually does.
