Loverboy

Being a loverboy is inherently a young man’s game, but the Canadian rock band Loverboy has worn the title surprisingly well throughout its 30-year run, despite its members now being in their 50s and 60s. While it has kept current by releasing a new album in 2007, Just Getting Started, and playing the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, such efforts are almost unnecessary given the immortal popularity of “Working For The Weekend.” Of course, Loverboy has a whole mess of other equally hooky, equally hokey jams like “Lovin’ Every Minute Of It,” “Hot Girls In Love,” and “The Kid Is Hot Tonite” just waiting to wrap its loving arms around you.
