Man Forever

Truly a project more than a band, Man Forever has so many rules and so much structure that it seems far-fetched to think that it will rock. Kid Millions, drummer for Oneida, masterminded this experience, which entails multiple drummers maintaining a steady roll for 30 minutes as bass, organ, and guitar are slowly added to the sound. Man Forever’s latest, Pansophical Cataract, features two tracks, “Surface Pattern” and “Ur Eternity,” both of which are expanded to a half-hour live, giving the audience plenty of time to pick up patterns emerging from the music and to totally zone out.
