Marc Anthony

Born in New York City to Puerto Rican parents, Marco Antonio Muñiz was named for a Mexican singer of the same name. But little did his padres know that their son would grow up to become the best selling salsa artist in the world. With a career transcending two decades, and a list of collaborators that includes everyone from Tito Puente to Menudo, Marc Anthony has been instrumental in facilitating the mixtures of classic Latin music and American pop many of us hear every day on the radio. With his most recent album, Iconos, the singer covers a variety of popular Latin ballads in celebration of his musical heritage. Fun fact: He is also a part-owner of the Miami Dolphins.
