Mark Eitzel

Mark Eitzel is the withered heart and soul of American Music Club, a storied San Francisco band with as big an influence as any in what counts as the slowcore sound. Along with likeminded acts like Red House Painters, American Music Club makes music that broods—but beautifully. The same goes for Eitzel in solo mode, which he’s made more of a significant thing over the years, especially when it comes to playing live. Here, he’ll do a set billed as “Mark Eitzel Performs American Music Club.”
