Artist Matt Nathanson
It’s been an excellent couple of years for local singer-songwriter Matt Nathanson, who’s still living off of 2007’sSome Mad Hope, his sixth studio album and first for Vanguard Records. Upon its release, Some Mad Hopeseemed like it might just be another well-crafted soft-rock record enjoyed predominantly by his hardcore followers, but with the assistance of the sexually charged “Come On Get Higher”—which you may have seen him play on Letterman and Ellen—Nathanson’s name is inching ever closer to household status.
