MDC

MDC—short for Millions Of Dead Cops, Millions Of Damn Christians, and more—began in Austin in 1980 before taking its raucous, blazingly fast hardcore punk to San Francisco. In 2000, frontman Dave Dictor recruited an all-new backing band and hit the studio for 2004’s surprisingly good Magnus Dominus Corpus. Now back in full police-bashing mode, MDC has appeared on several split EPs and compilations, as well as a 2009 split full-length with The Restarts, Mobocracy. This summer finds the band touring extensively, including a handful of dates with The Subhumans.
