Meat Loaf

For a certain generation of moms, it doesn’t get any better than Meat Loaf. Crank up any track from 1977’s unstoppable Bat Out Of Hell—okay, maybe just “Paradise By The Dashboard Light”—and you’ll send any number of fun lovin’ ladies weaned on the singer’s theatrical rock operas into hysterics. Still, it’s easy to appreciate Meat Loaf simply for having such a long, bizarre career (he was in The Rocky Horror Picture ShowFight Club, and Spice World), and for having sung some pretty killer tunes. The singer has been enjoying a surge in popularity as of late, thanks in part to his scene-chewing appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice, and, to a much lesser extent, his 2011 album Hell In A Handbasket. Never content to simply stand back and bask in his past glories, Meat is working on a Christmas album with Garth Brooks and Reba McEntire, titled Hot Holidays.
