Artist Micah Schnabel

Micah Schnabel leads the Ohio-based band Two Cow Garage with a voice that perfectly echoes the used-up-and-abandoned landscapes and characters in his spirited songwriting. Two Cow Garage is best known as an almost desperately ass-kicking rock band (as heard on 2008's album Speaking In Cursive), but the grit and conviction should hold up just fine as Schnabel comes through on a solo-acoustic tour. In fact, putting him in a quiet, reflective setting (like on 2009's solo album When The Stage Lights Go Dim) just brings out the surprising flexibility of Schnabel's barbwire-lined vocal chords.
