Michael Bublé

Unless you’re an avid follower of the pop-music charts, chances are, your greatest exposure to Canadian singer Michael Bublé came when he appeared on Saturday Night Live opposite Jon Hamm. Bublé’s natural showmanship shined through in the pair’s half-baked commercial for the “Hamm & Bublé” restaurant, as it does during his performances. The singer’s savvy swoon and charming voice shouldn’t deter people who might at first scoff at Bublé’s overt catchiness and sparkling studio productions. His 2009 album, Crazy Love, might not mine any new territory on the subject of romance—it mostly comprises jazz standards and covers—but Sinatra-style vocals atop familiarly enchanting tunes is never unwelcome.
