According to a blog post made last year by Michael Ian Black, Michael Ian Black is a “genius.” He was referring to the publishing of his second children’s book, A Pig Parade Is A Terrible Idea, but you’re probably more familiar with his “genius” comedy work with The State, Stella, Michael & Michael Have Issues, and VH1’s I Love The... series. His sarcasm cuts deep and dry; his aggression is so passive that his victims giggle as he decimates them. His work ethic also puts other comedians to shame: In addition to a new podcast (Mike And Tom Eat Snacks with actor Tom Cavanaugh), and a new book (Stupid For America with Megan McCain), Black is currently helming his sprawling “Black Is White” tour.
