Milo Greene

If you crossed the shimmering guitars and laid-back rhythms of Real Estate with the harmonies of The Hush Sound or Of Monsters And Men, then you’d be somewhere close to the floating pop of Milo Greene. Formed in Northern California in about 2009 with multi-instrumentalist Marlana Sheetz, Robbie Arnett, and Andrew Heringer, the band relocated to Los Angeles, added two members, and just released its self-titled debut album. The band’s effervescent folk-pop melodies and jangly guitar lines in songs like “1957” and “Take A Step” are undeniably inviting, a lush, calm landscape to soak up like summer sun.
