To most self-respecting adults, Miranda Cosgrove is just some girl in the occasional Neutrogena commercial who sparred with Jack Black in School Of Rock. To the average tween, though, she’s practically royalty. As the star of Nickelodeon mega-smash iCarly, Cosgrove comes into the homes of 6.6 million tittering viewers each week, and she reportedly just signed a low-seven-figure contract to appear on the next 26 episodes of the show. She’s appeared on The Good Wife and voiced a character in Despicable Me, all of which is pretty good for someone who’s not even 18 yet. Her debut record, Sparks Fly, hit shelves last spring, and drew apt comparisons to Avril Lavigne, though Cosgrove’s probably more sensible.
