Formed in the mid ’90s, Morcheeba started out playing mellow, slick soul built around Paul and Ross Godfrey’s multi-instrumental talents and Skye Edwards’ soothing purr. The trip-hop trio caught on with stately early offerings like Who Can You Trust? and Big Calm, but Edwards left after 2002’sCharango. In the years that followed, the Godfreys put out a couple of albums with help from guest vocalists with middling results. Lucky for them, Edwards rejoined in 2010, and the group released a return to form called Blood Like Lemonade.
