A duo that bumps so hard it knocked all of the vowels out of its moniker, MSTRKRFT (pronounced “Master Craft”) is an electro-house outfit created by former Death From Above 1979 member Jesse F. Keeler (JFK) and Alex Puodziukas (Al-P), who produced DFA79’s only studio album, You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine. It’s only taken a few years for the Toronto group to became a major player on the dance floor, both with its own creations and with sizzling remixes of everyone from Bloc Party to John Legend to kindred spirit Justice. MSTRKRFT is currently supporting its 2009 sophomore full-length, Fist Of God, which includes appearances by Legend, Ghostface Killah, and others.
