Murder Junkies

Punk poet and shit-smearer GG Allin shuffled off this mortal coil 18 years ago, dead of a post-show heroin overdose rather than the onstage suicide he’d always promised. But his spirit lives on, both in a small sect of disgruntled punk fans and in his former backing band, The Murder Junkies. Led by Allin’s brother Merle, The Murder Junkies replaced the irreplaceable GG with Antiseen singer Jeff Clayton and soldiered on. Now with PP Duvay (of New York’s They Hate Us) on vocals, the band releasedRoad Killer in 2011, a new set of buzzsaw provocations and anthems for the irrevocably damaged. “Two Dicks In Your Mouth” ought to sit nicely with classic GG summertime jams like “I Kill Everything I Fuck.”
