Artist Mushroomhead

As far as Mushroomhead is concerned, there’s room for only one band of masked morons on this planet, which explains the Cleveland metal group’s vocal dislike of Slipknot. Mushroomhead—whose faux-scary shtick includes wearing “X face” masks—has been talking smack about its much more popular rival for years, and the hostility has trickled down to the fans, who once pelted Slipknot with batteries. Mushroomhead could stand a good pelting, too, though a band this inconsequential probably isn’t worth the wasted batteries. Not that Mushroomhead should be underestimated—in 2010, it released its seventh album, Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children.
