Myq Kaplan

Judging by his routine, comedian Myq Kaplan’s master’s degree in linguistics has formed much of the basis for his intellectually acrobatic humor. In the seven years since he was named Boston University’s funniest student, Kaplan has made appearances on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson and Conan O’Brien’s short-lived iteration of The Tonight Show. In 2010, he placed fifth in NBC’s Last Comic Standing contest and appeared in his own edition of Comedy Central Presents. He also released an album of his material, titled Vegan Mind Meld, which is presumably what happens when you refuse to eat animal products, the way he does.
