Nick Cannon
Nick Cannon seems happy to define himself by the simple fact that he does a lot of different things. At the very least, he worked “rapper-comedian-actor-comedian-slash-producer” into a rhyme on his self-titled 2003 album. That disc paired him with collaborators ranging from R. Kelly to Just Blaze, and before that he created and starred in an eponymous comedy show for Nickelodeon, and took the lead role in 2002’s Drumline. (He still works for Nickelodeon as a creative consultant, chairing a teen-oriented channel, TeenNick.) Lately, he’s best known for being both Mr. Mariah Carey and the host of mindless summer television favoriteAmerica’s Got Talent, though he’s recently launched his own label as well, NCredible Records.
