It’s been more than a decade since the Florida-based group gave up the ghost, but if there’s band that can credibly come back to life, it’s a death-metal act called Obituary. After an impromptu Ozzfest reunion that led to 2005’s comeback album Frozen In Time, the band re-established its position as a leading darkness of death metal. Its follow-up, Xecutioner’s Return, was unleashed in summer 2007, and the band is out now behind yet another album, Darkest Day.
