Other Lives

Other Lives, the band formally and shortly known as Kunek, released its self-titled album in spring of 2009. The soothing lead single off that album, “Black Tables,” ended up on obscure television shows like Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, and One Tree Hill. Fresh off a North American tour opening for everyone’s favorite Kanye West collaborators and Grammy-nominated band, Bon Iver, and a headlining tour in early February, Other Lives will be opening for Radiohead on select dates of their North American tour this February, March, and April, culminating in a gig at Coachella in April. The band’s latest album, 2011’s Tamer Animals, should please fans of brooding, plaintive indie rock, à la The National and Wolf Parade.
