Artist Panic At The Disco

Since breaking big in 2006 with “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” Vegas emo kids Panic! At the Disco have had a fairly eclectic career. The band’s first album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, pretty much defined the look and sound of a genre. 2008’sPretty. Odd. found the band dropping its exclamation point and adopting a more psychedelic tone that surprised (and excited) critics, but alienated some fans. Its most recent album, this year’s Vices & Virtues, is the first without founding guitarist Ryan Ross and finds the band returning to some of its old ways, including a more straightforward rock sound and, perhaps most importantly, the exclamation point.
