The unpredictably static-blasted songs of Pink Reason fit nicely alongside such fellow Brooklyn noise-gazers as A Place To Bury Strangers. But before Pink Reason mastermind Kevin DeBroux moved to New York, he started this marriage of moody pop and sneakily well-crafted dissonance in, of all places, Green Bay. Live, the lineup shifts around DeBroux, so it's hard to guess how Pink Reason's shows will interpret the layers of warmly washed-out guitars, reverbed-to-hell vocals, and mysterious sonic fault lines on such releases as 2007's Cleaning The Mirror.
